Key Responsibilities
Your daily tasks will involve ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients' financial records. As an entry-level bookkeeper, you will:
- Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate financial ledgers using accounting software.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure all balances match.
- Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and balance sheets.
- Organize and file physical and digital documents for audit trails.
- Communicate with clients to resolve discrepancies and answer basic financial inquiries.
- Assist the senior accounting team with month-end closing procedures.
Qualifications
We value potential and aptitude over rigid experience. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred).
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (prior coursework is a bonus).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in number crunching.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
