Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including accurate data entry and reconciliation of bank statements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all invoices are processed timely and correctly.
- Process payroll for small business clients using QuickBooks and accounting software.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist in the organization of tax documents for upcoming deadlines.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for client records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to identify areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel experience is preferred).
- Ability to learn new accounting software quickly.
- Reliable internet connection and a professional work ethic.
- Previous experience is not required, but a background in administrative support or customer service is a plus.
