Responsibilities
- Financial Data Entry: Accurately input daily financial transactions into our accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Reconciliation: Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure records match bank statements.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and issue invoices to clients.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized and up-to-date physical and digital filing systems for financial documents.
- Assisting with Payroll: Support the payroll process by gathering necessary time sheets and data.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and balance sheets under supervision.
- Communication: Interact professionally with clients and team members to resolve billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior bookkeeping experience is necessary. We provide full training.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is preferred).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and ensure accuracy in numerical data.
- Math Skills: Solid understanding of basic arithmetic and financial calculations.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, reliable, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
