Responsibilities
- Record Daily Transactions: Accurately input daily financial data into our accounting software, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
- Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process and track incoming and outgoing invoices, ensuring payments are made on time and cash flow is managed effectively.
- Maintain Ledgers: Update and maintain general ledgers and subsidiary accounts to reflect the company's financial status.
- Generate Reports: Assist in the preparation of basic financial reports and month-end close activities.
- Data Entry: Perform high-volume data entry tasks with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value potential and attitude over history.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus, but training is provided).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, high level of organization, and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Communication: Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
