Responsibilities
- Enter and categorize daily financial transactions accurately into the general ledger.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and budgets.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems for tax documents.
- Assist the senior accounting team with payroll preparation and data entry.
- Utilize cloud-based accounting software to update client financial records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer proficiency, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors in data.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to learn new accounting software quickly (training provided).
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
