Responsibilities
- Accurately enter daily financial transactions into accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks).
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Process and invoice bills and accounts payable.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries.
Qualifications
- No prior bookkeeping experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
- Ability to learn new accounting software quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
