Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions using QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Prepare financial reports including balance sheets and income statements
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for client documentation
- Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation
- Respond to client inquiries regarding financial statements
- Participate in quarterly audits and compliance reviews
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to learn accounting software quickly (training provided)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to pursue QuickBooks certification within 6 months
- Reliable transportation for occasional client meetings
