Responsibilities
- Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to track expenses, invoices, and payroll entries.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries, invoices, and account status.
- Assist the senior accounting team with tax preparation, filing, and audit support.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus, but not mandatory (on-the-job training provided).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driverβs license and reliable transportation are required for occasional client site visits.
