Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and bill payments in a timely manner.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and status updates.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) to log daily transactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in Accounting is preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (Data entry experience is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies immediately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
