As an Entry Level Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our clients' financial health. You will work closely with our accounting team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and process daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain and update digital and physical filing systems for client records.
- Support the payroll process by verifying time entries and processing payments.
- Assist with general ledger entries and month-end close procedures.
- Research and resolve discrepancies in financial reports.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is a plus.
- No prior experience required; we train the right candidates.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (accounting courses are a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
