Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and general ledgers.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial records and documentation.
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations.
- Assist with budget preparation and expense tracking for various departments.
- Respond to financial inquiries from clients and team members promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles, GAAP, and accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas) is required.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
