Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including accurate data entry and transaction reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records and filing systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors regarding account inquiries and outstanding balances.
- Assist with tax preparation support during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., GAAP) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable internet connection for remote access.
