The Role
In this role, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our clients. You will be responsible for accurate record-keeping, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations. We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and eager to grow.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Process payroll transactions for client businesses accurately and timely.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and quarterly reporting.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Previous experience in an office setting or accounting role is preferred but not required for this entry-level position.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
