Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Prepare invoices, expense reports, and payroll documentation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Support audit preparation and tax documentation
- Communicate financial status clearly to team members and clients
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- 1+ years of accounting/bookkeeping internship or part-time experience preferred
