Responsibilities
- Manage complex financial statements and compliance reporting for diverse client portfolios
- Lead month-end closing processes with advanced reconciliation techniques
- Develop and implement tax strategies for C-corporations and S-corporations
- Oversee audit preparations and liaise with external auditors
- Mentor junior accountants using cutting-edge accounting software
- Analyze financial trends to provide strategic business insights
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and evolving regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public accounting experience in Portland metro area
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Intacct platforms
- Proven track record with multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA and Power BI capabilities
- Strong leadership experience in cross-functional teams
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Active Oregon CPA license required
