Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and basic financial statements.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payroll support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Perform basic data entry and ensure data integrity within the accounting software.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding account inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior professional experience required; we value attitude and aptitude.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not mandatory.
