Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records and journal entries.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist auditors with requested documentation and data analysis.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
