Responsibilities
- Reconcile Financial Accounts: Review bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage Invoicing: Process accounts payable and receivable invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Payroll Support: Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll entries for our team members.
- Data Entry: Maintain and update financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Reporting: Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in the preparation of year-end audits.
- Organizational Tasks: File and organize physical and digital financial documents.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior professional experience required; we teach our own!
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a huge plus).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and maintain high standards of accuracy.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Punctual and professional demeanor.
