Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform accurate bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and general ledger entries.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee timekeeping records.
- Prepare and issue invoices to clients, and process incoming payments.
- Organize and maintain financial files, records, and archives.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation support.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, GAAP, and financial terminology.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
