Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and account reconciliation.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to general ledgers.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Support the senior accounting team with month-end close procedures.
- Assist in preparing basic financial statements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (or a strong willingness to learn).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
