Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with monthly closing procedures and financial reporting
- Prepare sales tax filings and payroll documentation
- Support audits by providing organized financial documentation
- Implement bookkeeping best practices across client accounts
- Communicate financial insights to clients and senior accountants
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Bookkeeping or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information

- Valid Michigan driver's license (client visits required)
