Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify billings, and ensure timely payments to vendors while accurately recording incoming revenue.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review monthly bank statements and reconcile accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for and accurate.
- Data Entry & Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in our accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero).
- Assist with Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ledgers.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses to help manage company budgets effectively.
- General Office Support: Assist with payroll processing and other ad-hoc accounting duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value potential and attitude over a specific resume.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential). Familiarity with accounting software is a bonus.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. Excellent communication abilities.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
