As an Entry Level Bookkeeper, you will work closely with senior accountants to maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor accounts, and ensure timely payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Bank Reconciliation: Compare monthly bank statements to internal ledgers to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Data Entry & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in our accounting software.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial reports and assist in month-end close processes.
- Expense Management: Categorize and organize business expenses for accurate tax reporting.
- Support Senior Staff: Shadow senior accountants and assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot errors and ensure data accuracy in high-volume environments.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Learning Agility: Strong willingness to learn new accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
