Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and payroll reports.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve billing inquiries and payment issues.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.
- Previous experience or internship in a finance or accounting role is a plus but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
