Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and profit/loss statements
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for 15+ small business clients
- Implement QuickBooks software solutions for new client onboarding
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with senior accountants on quarterly tax preparation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
