Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Support audit processes by organizing financial documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for efficient record-keeping
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years bookkeeping or internship experience preferred
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- QuickBooks certification a plus
