Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Prepare sales tax filings and payroll support documentation
- Organize and digitize financial documents for audit readiness
- Collaborate with senior accountants on budget tracking and variance analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with basic formula knowledge
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or accounting software fundamentals
- Strong numerical accuracy and data entry skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license (client site visits required)
