Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and prepare financial statements using QuickBooks Online
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Manage vendor invoices, expense reports, and tax document organization
- Support clients with financial analysis and budget forecasting
- Implement internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP and tax compliance principles
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping or internship experience preferred
