Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and ledgers.
- Manage payroll entry and ensure timely disbursement.
- Organize and file financial documents both digitally and in physical archives.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and general ledger maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in a bookkeeping or administrative role is a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect discrepancies in data.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
