Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and accounting software
- Process accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial report preparation
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Support payroll processing and tax document preparation
- Collaborate with senior accountants to optimize financial workflows
- Document financial procedures and maintain organized filing systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
