Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable/receivable and reconcile bank statements
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records
- Assist with monthly/quarterly financial reporting
- Support audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Utilize QuickBooks for transaction tracking and analysis
- Communicate financial insights to clients and team members
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years bookkeeping or accounting internship experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of debits/credits and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information
- Basic knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations
