Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor communications
- Prepare financial reports including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and audit preparations
- Utilize QuickBooks for transaction recording and data analysis
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting internship experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of double-entry accounting principles
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
