Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments in a timely manner
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Utilize QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to manage financial data and generate reports
- Support tax preparation efforts by organizing financial documentation
- Collaborate with senior accountants to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP standards
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (intermediate level required)
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
