Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account balance verification
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and invoices
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation preparation
- Generate financial reports including profit/loss statements and balance sheets
- Utilize QuickBooks software for transaction recording and reporting
- Support external audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication abilities for client interactions
