As an Entry Level Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our clients' financial health. You will work closely with senior accountants to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and data management. Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Process and invoice bills accurately and in a timely manner.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes under supervision.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) to enter and update financial data.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new software systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
