Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor communications
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Process payroll and assist with quarterly tax filings
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets
- Utilize QuickBooks for transaction recording and reporting
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial analysis
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- 1+ years of internship or volunteer accounting experience preferred
