Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheets for client review
- Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation preparation
- Implement and maintain organized digital filing systems for financial records
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial reporting initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software
