We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Bookkeeper to join our growing finance department in Oakland, CA. Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Enter and categorize financial data into our accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero).
- Prepare basic financial reports and invoices for review.
- Support the month-end closing process by gathering necessary documentation.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial filing systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new accounting software and internal systems quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be available to work full-time in our Oakland office.
