Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records using Xero and QuickBooks
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage bank reconciliations
- Assist with payroll processing and HMRC compliance
- Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management
- Support audit processes and maintain documentation trails
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budget preparation
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding financial matters
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or equivalent qualification in accounting/finance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, VLOOKUP)
- Basic understanding of UK GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Customer-focused mindset with clear communication abilities
