Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records using QuickBooks and Excel
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts monthly
- Assist in preparing VAT returns and quarterly management accounts
- Support audit processes by providing documentation and explanations
- Implement internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Communicate financial updates to senior management
Qualifications
- Basic bookkeeping or accounting qualification (AAT Level 2 equivalent)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive problem-solving approach
