Responsibilities

- Process monthly payroll and submit HMRC reports
- Prepare VAT returns and assist with quarterly financial statements
- Manage digital filing systems and ensure compliance with UK GAAP
- Support audits by providing documentation and reconciliations
- Use Xero and QuickBooks for transaction processing
- Communicate financial insights to clients and senior accountants
Qualifications
- Recent graduate or 1 year experience in bookkeeping/accounting
- Proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Basic knowledge of UK tax regulations and HMRC requirements
- QuickBooks/Xero certification or willingness to obtain
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive problem-solving approach
- UK work authorization required
