As an Entry Level Bookkeeper, you will be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while supporting our clients' business growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- Manage and organize digital and physical financial records and invoices.
- Prepare basic financial statements and expense reports for management review.
- Communicate with clients and vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (we teach the rest!).
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and strong communication skills.
