Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle of monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring accuracy in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the general ledger reconciliation process, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare complex financial statements and supporting schedules for internal and external audits.
- Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing analytical insights to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, capable of presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
