Responsibilities
- Process and verify all incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve any discrepancies or exceptions in a timely manner.
- Enter and update vendor information into the accounting system (SAP/QuickBooks).
- Reconcile vendor statements and communicate directly with external vendors regarding billing inquiries.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and expense reports.
- Maintain organized and secure digital and physical filing systems for financial documents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative or finance role is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
