- Reconcile purchase orders with receipts and invoices for accuracy
- Maintain organized accounts payable records and digital filing systems
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Support audit preparation by providing documentation as needed
- Utilize accounting software to track expenses and manage vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, spreadsheets)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred; internship experience accepted
