Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization
- Manage 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and payment runs
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status
- Support ad-hoc reporting and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Previous internship or part-time finance experience a plus
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite beneficial)
