In this role, you will be the first line of defense in ensuring our vendors are paid accurately and on time. You will work closely with our senior accounting team to learn the ropes of AP operations while gaining exposure to a high-tech environment. Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for all AP transactions.
- Assist the Finance Manager with month-end close procedures and reporting.
- Communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status.
- Utilize accounting software to input data and generate standard reports.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger concepts.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
