Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and proper authorization
- Manage vendor communications and resolve payment discrepancies
- Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers with general ledger
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Support audit preparation and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on vendor setup
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and AP processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred but not required)
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
