Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and proper authorization
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger with bank statements and vendor records
- Manage payment cycles including check processing and ACH transactions
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
- Support internal audits and compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting terminology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with error-detection capabilities
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
