Responsibilities
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment
- Reconcile accounts payable ledger and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for financial documents
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding payment status
- Support annual audits by providing necessary documentation and support
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) to manage invoice workflows
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of accounts payable principles and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving approach with a team mindset
- Previous internship or part-time finance experience preferred
